How often should I replace my filter?

Replace your filter every 3 months or after 320 gallons (1,200 liters), whichever comes first. Your Lavuna's LED display automatically tracks filter life

Will generic or third-party filters work with my Lavuna?

While some generic filters may physically fit, we strongly advise against using them. Here's why:

  • Performance: Generic filters only remove 60-80% of contaminants vs. our 99.9% removal rate
  • LED tracking: Third-party filters won't work with your LED life indicator
  • Warranty void: Using non-genuine filters immediately voids your 1-year Lavuna warranty
  • Lifespan: Generic filters last 150-200 gallons vs. our 320 gallons

How do I install a replacement filter?

Installation takes just 30 seconds and requires no tools:

  1. Turn off water - Switch your tap to the off position
  2. Remove old filter - Twist the old filter counterclockwise and pull out
  3. Install new filter - Align the new filter and twist clockwise 
  4. Flush the system - Run water through for 30 seconds to prime the new filter
  5. Reset LED - Press the white reset button 

Tip: Have a towel handy to catch any drips when removing the old filter.

Can I use the filter with hot water?

Lavuna filter is not designed for boiling or extremely hot water. The system operates efficiently with water temperatures between 0-45°C / 104°F. 

 

For hot water needs:
